Environmental concerns are integral to Hello Forests aims and as a result are the shared responsibility of all stakeholders. Any concerns or suggestions about the environmental impact of Hello Forest’s activities should be raised in Management Meetings.
Wherever possible Hello Forest preferences the use of sustainable practices and materials in all its activities, from the transportation methods selected in realising projects to the stationery used in the office and the contracted work (e.g. print jobs) carried out by external collaborators.
Wherever such products exist, Hello Forest will purchase recycled, environmentally friendly or energy saving products to carry out its dayto-day activities. This ranges from office toilet paper to the cleaning products used in the office and the paper used for printing office documents and energy saving ‘stand-by elimination’ buttons for electronic devices.
Hello Forest will continually investigate, on a routine basis, the environmental impact of its practices and will seek to minimise wastage and source sustainable products. In addition, every new project will require extensive research, which will be allocated to specific staff to identify the most efficient, environmentally friendly resources needed.
